SUPERMARKET TOURS

At the 1998 ChinaMart show in Beijing, selective supermarket tours were arranged for all international exhibitors. This was a very popular and productive event for our exhibitors and we will once again offer this unique opportunity at ChinaMart '99 in Guangzhou. Exhibitors will tour local supermarkets and distribution centers, as well as, meet with executives and officials from these establishments. The exhibitors will have the opportunity to see the operations first hand and discuss business in the Chinese establishment.

PURCHASING PAVILION

New to the ChinaMart '99 exhibitors, will be the addition of a Purchasing Pavilion. Buyers and members from local supermarkets, distributors and marketing services will be present within the Pavilion to meet with  exhibitors. They will be there to discuss business such as purchasing plans, marketing opportunities and other key issues and opportunities available to exhibitors in China.

A myriad of promotion opportunities are available to enhance your exhibit space. These marketing opportunities will help to attract the right buyers to your booth and make your company stand out from the competition.

CONFERENCE PROGRAMS

Once again, there will be a high-level conference program organized for attendees at ChinaMart '99. Industry experts will discuss the latest topics, concerns, trends and general marketplace information during the three days of seminar programs. SPECIAL BRIEFING FOR U.S. EXHIBITORS

A special briefing for U. S. exhibitors at ChinaMart '99 will be conducted by Mr. Sam Wong, Director of the Agricultural Trade Office, Foreign Agricultural Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture, in Guangzhou, China. This briefing will give the exhibitors information on the Chinese food industry, and how to be successful in dealing with the fast expanding food and supermarket industry in China. Also participating in this briefing will be officials of the U. S. Agricultural Trade Offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong. ( Watch these pages for upcoming announcements on this program)
