How to Open the
China Market !
A two session seminar series, to be held
at ChinaMart ‘99 for U. S. exhibitors, will cover a number of subjects
designed to assist them in breaking into or expanding an existing business in
the fast growing Chinese retail food industry. The seminars will be held on
December 9 and 10, beginning at 7:30 AM and running til 9:30 AM on each of the
two days.
Sam Wong, Director of the U. S.
Agricultural Trade Office in Guangzhou, China will host the two sessions. The
Director of the U. S. Agricultural Trade Office in Shanghai, China, LaVerne
Brabant, will present the first session on December 9. George Ferris, Deputy
Director of the U. S. Agricultural Trade Office in Hong Kong, will moderate the
second session on December 10.
Expanding this program in 1999, is a
concerted effort on the part of E. J. Krause & Associates, organizers of the
event and The Foreign Agricultural Service of the U. S. Department of
Agriculture, to give American exhibitors at the show, as much assistance and
information, as possible so they can successfully penetrate the lucrative and
booming food industry in South China.
